When I began this I envisioned a place that I thought Jesus might retreat to in order to spend time with God. A place of serenity, and peace. A sanctuary amongst God’s Creation.

As I continued, I was reminded of His Sermon on the Mount. In Matthew 6 Jesus teaches His listeners that if God provides food for the birds and the lilies grow without toil, how much more does He care for us. We need not worry.

It is my hope that you would find rest and sanctuary in this just as Jesus did when He withdrew to be with God. May you discover assurance in God’s providence for you as you let go of your worries and put your trust in Him.
